كَيْفَ أقول بالعربية
How do you say in Arabic?
الفِعْل: أعْجَبَ – يُعْجِبُ
I liked / I like

In Arabic the verb “ يُعْجب” means “ I like something, or something appeals to me. It’s a special verb because unlike in English where “I” in the sentence “ I like dancing” is the subject and “dancing” is the object, in the Arabic sentence “ يُعجبني الرقص” , الرقص or dancing is actually the subject and the ي in يُعجبني which is an attached pronoun referring to oneself is the object.

subject, object, verb
